Harold C. "Dee-Dee" Koelker III, 51, of Venice, Illinois passed away at 9:53 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.
He was born April 29, 1966 in Granite City, a son of Roseann (Cooper) Koelker of Venice, Illinois and the late Harold C. "Dee-Dee" Koelker Jr.
He was a lifetime member of the Venice Social Club and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends.
He was more than willing to always helping others and could fix just about anything and enjoyed his days of playing washers and loved horse racing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by five children, Josh Koelker, Kayla Koelker, Hannah Koelker, Bethany Koelker and Justin Parris; several grandchildren; grandmother, Rose Cooper; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, James and Nancy Koelker, Stephen Koelker and Michael and Bridgette Koelker; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Clint Wisdom officiating.
Memorials may be made to Autism Speaks or to American Diabetes Association and may be accepted at the funeral home.
