Ronald J. Woodard 52, of Madison, IL passed from this life on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at his home. Ron was born on November 30, 1958 in Granite City to David & Agnes (Cook) Woodard. He was a longtime crane operator for Heitman Steel in Granite City. He is survived by his parents, David & Agnes of Madison, IL; brother, Rick Woodard of Granite City; 2 daughters, Jodi & (Mike) Farless, Ashley Woodard; grandchildren, Tyler Trujillo, Leiyah Mejia; nephew, Ricky Woodard. Friends may call on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Clint Wisdom officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the family.
