Perry Michael Cook, age 38, of Austin, TX, formerly of Granite City, IL, passed on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Round Rock, TX. Mike was born on January 15, 1979 in Fredericktown, MO.
Mike was a customer service representative at a call center in Austin, TX. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and he never missed watching a game. Mike was also a car enthusiasts, his favorite car was a Ford Mustang. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends. Mike loved life, he loved to laugh, but most of all he loved his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Lawrence Cook and by one brother, Rev. Larry Cook.
Mike is survived by his loving mother, Joyce Cook of Granite City, IL; siblings, Terry (AL) Luebbers of Park Hills, MO; Jerry (Julie) Cook of Farmington, MO, Rev. Gary (Tammy S) Cook of Granite City, IL and Carey (Tammy L) Cook of Springfield, MO; girlfriend, Heather Wells of Austin, TX; sister-in-law, Elaine Keltie of Patton, MO; many nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.
Memorial visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Freedom Worship Center, Granite City, IL.
In celebration of his life, a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church with Rev. Gary Cook officiating.
Memorial donations may be given to Freedom Worship Center. Donations will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
