Lois Ann Langford, age 62, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. Lois was born on May 19, 1956 in Granite City, IL, a daughter of the late James Rehmus and Helen (Gallagher) Rehmus.

On March 17, 1991, Lois married Ronnie Langford Sr., the love of her life. Lois worked as an operations director for United 4 Children in St. Louis, MO, for many years. She enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing volleyball, backyard cookouts and her annual trips with her Nestle girlfriends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, whom she adored. Lois loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by a son, Mark J. Langford; sister, Cathy Skaggs, brothers, Michael and Joseph Rehmus; and by her beloved pets, Sable, Taz and Eboni.

She is survived by her devoted husband of twenty-seven years, Ronnie Langford Sr. of Granite City, IL; loving children, Kimberly Yates of Granite City, IL, Jeffrey (Angela) Langford of Granite City, IL, Dawn (Ben) Modica of Chicago, IL and Ronnie (Gabby) Langford Jr. of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law, Angela Langford of St. Louis, MO; bonus daughter, Tammy Langford of St. Louis, MO; brother, Richard Rehmus of Granite City, IL; proud grandmother to seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; beloved pets, Eli and Bailey; extended family and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, IL.

In celebration of her life, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, with Andrew O’Shia, Christopher O’Shia, Ronnie Langford, Joshua Langford and Jake Page officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.

Memorial donations may be given to United 4 Children. Donations will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
