Jordan L. Wieda, 25 of St. Jacob, Illinois passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017.
Jordan was born on August 23, 1991 in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Jordan proudly served in the United States Navy for 6 years and just started his new job at Pond Company in New Baden, Illinois as a liquid fuel maintenance technician. Jordan loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and spent many hours working on his cars, trucks and bikes. He enjoyed his many days outside camping where he could go fishing and boating. Jordan had a love for “Red Dirt” Country music listening to Hank Williams and Travis Tritt. His greatest joy of all was spending time with family and friends. Jordan will be remembered for his outgoing and lovable personality who loved life and loved others.
He is survived by and will be missed by his mom and step dad; Lise (Craig) Lutz of St. Jacob, Illinois; his dad, Terry Wieda of Catawissa, Missouri; his sister, Alena Wieda of St. Jacob, Illinois; his girlfriend, Haley Russell of Maryville, Illinois; grandparents, Dick (Patricia) Bell of Webster Groves, Missouri; his grandpa, Brian Hydar; uncles and aunts, Christopher (Sharon) Weinland, Christian (Karen) Weinland, Phil (Lora) Wieda.
Jordan was preceded in death by his grandpa; Dale Weinland.
In celebration of Jordan’s life, friends may call on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer gathering at 3:45 p.m. and Navy military rites at 6:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon. Memorials are suggested to the Brain Injury Association of America.
