Gregory Scott Krisch, 48, of St. Jacob, Illinois and formerly of Florissant, Missouri passed away at 10:58 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his home.
He was born September 14, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Barbara (Simon) Krisch Kindermann of Wentzville, Missouri and the late Frank Thomas Krisch.
He married Jessica Lee (Mitchell) Krisch on July 13, 1996 at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Spanish Lake, Missouri and she survives.
He was a warehouse manager at Graybar Electric in St. Louis with over 20 years of dedicated service.
He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Greg was a car enthusiast and an avid fan of Corvettes and enjoyed playing Texas Hold’em. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, swimming, boating and riding four wheelers. He enjoyed coaching his children’s soccer, working out, running and participated in many races. He cherished his children and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends.
In addition to his beloved wife and mother, he is survived by his two sons, Nathan and Thomas Krisch of St. Jacob; stepfather, Carl Kindermann of Wentzville, Missouri; sister and brother-in-law, Dawne and Chris Christy of Wentzville, Missouri; uncle and aunt, Ron and Patty Krisch of Millstadt; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and Dick Mitchell of Glen Carbon; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mandee and Jasen Brown of Troy and Shonda and Mike Burrow of St. Jacob; eight nieces and nephews; other extended family and many dear friends.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Visitation will continue at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 511 South Main Street in Troy, Illinois on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Laughery as celebrant.
Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville.
