Gary Wayne Adams, 52, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born February 1, 1963 in Springfield, Tennessee.
He enjoyed working with electronics, fishing and gardening. He will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Freda (Wallace) Tucker and Max Rorie of Granite City; his father and stepmother, Walter Lonnie Adams and Rita Carder of Hardin; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Tina Adams of Lincoln, Nebraska; a sister and brother-in-law, Charla and William Cahill of Lebanon, Tennessee; nine nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Tucker and a sister, Julie Tucker.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Henry Crippen officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and may be accepted at the funeral home.
