Daniel Richard Wiegand, 76 of Edwardsville passed from this life on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. Daniel was born on October 6, 1934 in St. Louis to Martin & Ginny Wiegand. He was a certified pharmacist for Metro RPH in Wood River, IL. He is survived by and will be missed by 4 sons; Gregory Wiegand of Maryville, IL, Timothy Wiegand of Grafton, IL, Christopher Wiegand of Austin, TX, Matthew Wiegand of Grafton, IL; grandchildren, Danielle Wiegand, Amy Mueler, Olivia Wiegand Ronny Tschudy; great-grandchild, Steven Wiegand; sister Lois Barton. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Elizabeth Ann (Johnson) Wiegand. Friends may call on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon. A memorial celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Clint Wisdom officiating.
