Alice Bauza, nee Larner, 89, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Alice was born on October 6, 1923 in Granite City, IL. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew S. Bauza.
Mrs. Bauza retired in October 1985 from ADCOM where she had been a civil service employee for 28 years. She also worked for John Krekovich Realty for five years.
Alice is survived by her loving children, Larry (Sharon) Reader, Janet (George) Hetherington, Jim (Rebecca) Reader, Bill (Kathy) Reader and Patty Reader. Dear grandmother and great-grandmother to 19 grandchildren and thirty six great-grandchildren; they were the love of her life.
Services: Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 406 Hillsboro Ave., Edwardsville, IL 62025, with Father Arnold Hoffman officiating.
Upon her request her body was donated to the Washington University School of Medicine.
