Warmest greetings,
You are invited to attend a social gathering which we believe may be helpful to you, or to someone you know who has lost a spouse.
Often times widowed people feel isolated and alone, believing no one really understands how he or she feels. Because of this, he or she is commonly reluctant to become involved with organizations or new people. H.O.P.E. surrounds you with people who share these similar circumstances.
The objective of this ongoing group for widows and widowers is to support one another in a social setting.
Our H.O.P.E. luncheon will be held at the Sunset Hills County Club in Edwardsville, Illinois, on the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. Entertainment will be provided. The cost is $13.00, payable at the luncheon.
Widows and Widowers interested in attending are asked to contact our Glen Carbon funeral home to RSVP. Please call 618-288-9500 Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
